Ronaldo Scores Penalty for Al Nassr in Saudi Pro League Matchday 4

Cristiano Ronaldo’s First Goal in Saudi Arabia

Ronaldo Breaks Drought for Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, converting a penalty in a 2-1 victory over Al Ettifaq in Matchday 4.

The Portuguese superstar joined the Saudi Arabian club in December following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United.

He had failed to score in his first three appearances for Al Nassr, but he finally broke his duck from the spot in the 21st minute of the match against Al Ettifaq.

Ronaldo was brought down in the box by Al Ettifaq goalkeeper Paulo Victor and stepped up to take the penalty himself.

He sent Victor the wrong way and celebrated with his trademark ‘Siu’ celebration.

Al Nassr went on to win the match 2-1, with Talisca scoring the winning goal in the 42nd minute.

Ronaldo’s goal will be a huge relief for the 37-year-old, who has been under pressure to perform since joining Al Nassr.

It will also be a boost for Al Nassr, who are now second in the Saudi Pro League table, just one point behind leaders Al Hilal.

Ronaldo’s next match for Al Nassr will be against Al Fateh on February 3.
